TREAMS AND CONDITIONS SUMMARY

Summary for Customers (Quick Version)

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON POLYUREA & POLYSTYRENE FINISHES

All polyurea-coated products will have a natural industrial texture, including minor pinholes and surface waviness. These are not defects — they are a normal result of the spray process and curing conditions. Polyurea is designed for durability and strength, not a showroom gloss finish.

Polystyrene products cut with a hot wire have a tolerance of around 1–3 mm. Cutting accuracy can vary slightly depending on weather, humidity, and static. Pitting, small streaks, or melted spots may occur and are normal. Polystyrene is fragile and easily bruised — please handle carefully.

All products are packed using reclaimed materials unless otherwise arranged. Shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours.

Full Terms & Conditions apply to all orders.

Full Terms & Conditions

All products coated in polyurea are subject to a naturally occurring surface texture. This includes:

  • Minor pinholes

  • Surface waving

  • Variations in gloss or texture

These characteristics are inherent to the polyurea spraying process, caused by atomisation, humidity, overspray layering, and substrate expansion during curing. They are not considered defects. Our coatings are designed for durability and structural strength, with visual impact from a standard viewing distance — not cosmetic perfection.

2. SURFACE TOLERANCES

Polyurea is an industrial-grade protective coating, not a high-gloss automotive finish unless specifically quoted as such. While we sand, fill, and prep each item before coating, absolute uniformity and flatness are not guaranteed. Slight ripple, orange peel, or unevenness may occur. If you require a showroom finish can not be achieved,

3. PAINT SYSTEMS & COMPATIBILITY

Paint systems affect the final look, durability, and behaviour of the coating. We work with a range of options:

  • Acrylic

  • Oil-based enamel

  • Polyurethane

  • Automotive 2K systems

We are not responsible for reactions caused by customer-supplied paints or third-party recoating unless we’ve agreed in writing. Some paints may cause slight colour shifts, changes in gloss, or chemical incompatibility with polyurea or primer layers.

4. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS & OUTDOOR USE

Polyurea and painted finishes may expand, fade, or degrade under extreme conditions.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure for extended periods unless specified for outdoor use

  • Heat and humidity may cause subtle warping or gloss changes

  • UV-protective topcoats and waterproofing are available but must be arranged during quoting

  • Products should not be submerged or exposed to heavy rain unless built for that purpose

    5. PACKAGING, AND SHIPPING

Products are packed with care, but damage may still occur during transit.

    • We generally do not charge extra for packaging

    • Standard packaging includes reclaimed polystyrene pellets or padding, shrink wrap, and bubble wrap where needed

    • If custom or upgraded packaging is required, this must be organised in advance and will incur additional costs

    • Customers must inspect deliveries on arrival and report any damage within 48 hours

    • We assist with insurance claims where possible and provide free repair quotes, but we are not automatically liablefor freight damage unless agreed in writing

    6. CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE & AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

By proceeding with any order or accepting an invoice, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms. Products are supplied in line with Australian Consumer Law, including acceptable quality and fit for purpose.

    Customers understand that:

    • Polyurea coatings are industrial, not cosmetic

    • Surface features like pinholes and waviness are expected

    • Packaging, delivery, and paint outcomes may vary slightly

    • Changes or exceptions must be agreed upon in writing

    7. POLYSTYRENE CUTTING, TOLERANCES & HANDLING

Hot wire–cut polystyrene is subject to natural variation:

    • Tolerance of 1–3 mm is expected, depending on foam density, temperature, humidity, and cut speed

    • Weather conditions (especially heat and static) can affect the precision of the wire cut

    • Some surface pitting, banding, or melted edges may occur and are not considered faults

    • Polystyrene is extremely sensitive to pressure and can dent, bruise, or crumble easily

    • Humidity and moisture can cause foam expansion or lead to inconsistent cut performance

    • Keep foam dry, shaded, and indoors until final installation or coating
